I participated as a member of the Biological Science Department teaching team and my job entails teaching basic microbiology courses under the guidance of the head of department, developing teaching materials, assess work and progress of students, monitor and demonstrate laboratory experiments. I also engage in team researches and administrative activities. I was able to collaborate with senior colleagues within College of Natural and Applied Sciences in setting up a Bioinformatics Network in the Institution.

As a volunteer, I participated as a member of the team to facilitate basic Bioinformatics and Genomics trainings. Also, I engage in molecular biology-based research and data analysis. In addition, we organize academic events such as conference, seminars, trainings and workshops.

As a teaching Assistant, I was a member of the H3ABionet team and we assist participants to understand introduction to Bioinformatics and Next Generation Sequence Data Analysis trainings in some local classrooms.
